Document Forge is a practical PDF tool from Logan Pendragon Forge. It helps place information and visible signature marks on supported PDFs. It is not a professional advisory service, document certification service, or submission system. Read this disclaimer alongside the terms of service and privacy policy.
No professional advice or document approval
The editor does not interpret a form, decide whether its terms are appropriate, verify your answers, calculate amounts, or determine which document you should use. Nothing in the website or sample document is legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Using the tool does not establish a professional-client relationship. Get qualified advice when your situation requires it.
A visible signature is not certification
A drawn or typed signature is added as a visible mark. Document Forge does not verify who signed, witness the act, confirm authority, obtain other parties’ consent, certify a document, notarize it, or supply a certificate-based digital signature, tamper seal, trusted timestamp, or audit trail.
Electronic-signature requirements vary by document, jurisdiction, and recipient. A visible mark may be insufficient where a specific signing system, identity check, witness, original ink signature, certificate, or notarization is required. Confirm the requirements with the recipient before signing. We do not guarantee legal effect, enforceability, or acceptance.
Inspect your downloaded PDF
Successful download means a file was prepared; it does not mean its contents are correct or accepted. Unusual PDFs can render differently, omit unsupported features, or behave differently in another viewer. Before relying on the result, check every page, all entries, checkboxes, dates, signature placement, page orientation, and legibility in a separate PDF viewer.
Keep your original document. Downloads flatten supported form fields and marks; reopening a completed file does not restore those elements as editable fields. PDF scripts, automatic calculations, validation, OCR, and original-text editing are not provided. Password-protected, XFA, and already certificate-signed documents are unsupported.
Not a redaction or tamper-proofing tool
Covering information with text or a mark does not securely remove underlying content, metadata, hidden layers, attachments, or previous revisions. Do not use Document Forge to redact confidential information. Flattening and adding a signature do not prevent later edits or prove that a document has remained unchanged. Use a suitable dedicated service when secure redaction, sanitization, certification, or evidentiary records are required.
No delivery, storage, or recovery
The app does not send, file, mail, or submit your PDF. You must download and deliver it yourself and confirm receipt when necessary. There are no server-side document backups or recovery services. Save your work before clearing, refreshing, or closing the tab.
Browser-only processing does not guarantee anonymity or secure erasure from a device. Clear document cannot remove original files, downloads, screenshots, browser recovery data, or copies held by others. Website access logs are separate. Device security, browser extensions, and the way you share the file remain outside the app’s control.
Examples and third-party forms
The built-in sample uses fictional practice content and creates no agreement or legal obligation. Third-party forms and their instructions belong to their respective publishers. Availability in a PDF editor does not imply affiliation, endorsement, current validity, or acceptance of an electronic signature by a publisher or agency. Verify the correct version and submission rules with the original source.
Availability and legal rights
The service is experimental and provided “as is” and “as available,” subject to the terms of service and applicable law. Compatibility, uninterrupted availability, and suitability for a particular purpose are not guaranteed. This disclaimer does not remove any consumer right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
